T’was the week before Christmas, and inside my store
There were boxes of product from ceiling to floor
We had stocked up last month in anticipation
That our website would bring orders from all over the nation

Our website is good – after all, I designed it
But no one told me how to get people to find it
I guess that I should have looked into it more
I bet we’d have product going out the door.

I’m frantically searching for that web design number
To find out just what that guy suggested last summer
I turned him away; how can optimization
Do more than my billboard next to the train station?

The store on the other side of my street
Has a UPS truck making pickups all week!
I checked out their website (not much different than mine)
But I know that they used that same guy I declined.

So I’m claiming defeat, I give up – he was right
Now how do I get optimized overnight?
I’ll call him as soon as I find the damn number
This was my biggest, most costly marketing blunder.

Next Christmas I plan to have JAZ Design help me
Long before snow, ice and wind start to pelt me
What am I saying?? I must really be stupid
I’m calling them NOW before Santa is suited.

Don’t make the same error that we clearly made
JAZ Design Co can help with your website today
No matter what industry that you come from
The best place you can visit is jazdesignco.com

You keep hearing it.  Over and over.  But, they’re right, you know.  If you aren’t using Facebook to connect with your customers and target demographic, you’re ignoring 85 million people.  That is size of the slice of US based Facebook users! It’s nothing to shake a stick at, and we can get you started. The #1 reason you should be on Facebook is simply because everyone else is. You wouldn’t put up a billboard ad in the middle of a desert, right? Of course not! Times Square, baby!  That’s what Facebook is.  It’s the Times Square of advertising space on Facebook and you can be right in the middle of it. Obviously, the first step in getting your business on Facebook is to create a Fan Page.  If you already have one, perfect!  If not, we can set one up for you.  We can also manage it for you if you simply don’t have time to deal with Facebook through our Social Media Management service....

Just last night I was sitting in front of the TV and nearly every commercial not only had a Facebook icon listed on the screen, but most also had a Twitter and a YouTube icon. Now, it’s nothing new to see a web address and the Facebook icon on ads anymore, but the fact that ads are starting to include all 3 powerhouse social networks on their ads is very telling.

It means it’s time to get in the game.  Whether you have no social presence (meaning you haven’t even created social networking accounts at all), a social presence with a weak pulse (because sure, you’ve signed up for the main networks, but didn’t quite understand how to use them and let them sit idle), or you are checking your social networks fairly regularly, you need to ensure that you’re engaging your customers so that they want to follow you and like what content you’re offering.

The Google robot (or the Yahoo/Bing ones, for that matter) cannot see the fancy graphics on your website, neither can they make out the color of the headings. They are not easy to impress. If a magic genie promised you one wish - one visitor to sell your website to, whom would you direct him to? If you were smart, you wouldn’t ask him to take your website to the richest businessman in the world - you would ask him to sell to the search engine bot.

The happier the search engines are with your website, the more people your business reaches! The most targeted traffic that you could ask for is the one that comes from “organic search engine listings” - why? Because these were the people who came looking for you, and are the most interested in what you have to offer. You could force them to see you by blowing your trumpet on the virtual billboard - Google’s featured ads, but only if you have a fortune to spend, and a very brave heart - because anyone who’s done any PPC marketing worth talking about will tell you that your investments can go waaaay down the drain if it isn’t done right.

The mobile phone has come a long way - from luxury to necessity, from being in the possession of a lucky few to being in everyone's pocket. Not only have they come a long way, they are here to stay. With the increasing popularity of Smartphones and applications on them, and the lethal combination of ultra-portability and power, it is not surprising that the mobile phone is growing to be the medium of choice for more than just phone calls. This includes task management, emails, instant messaging, and surfing the web. The last bit is what should concern every webmaster. Websites, when designed for large, high-resolution monitors, and even hi-def TV screens, fail almost miserably when they try to load on a screen of the size of the average Smartphone, and a processor that is typically much less powerful than a full-fledged laptop. Load times suffer a steep drop, websites look screwed up or do not come about at all, and when they do, they end up being tough to navigate. There is no doubt that a separate version...

So, you're doing your best to insert your business into the evergrowing craze of social media and you've got a Facebook Fan page. You're slowing, but surely, becoming more "liked" by Facebook users and you're doing your best to add fresh and diverse content that is both interesting and valuable to your target audience.
